After a highly successful 2022 Summer Transfer Window, USG were delighted to have carried that momentum into January 2023 – posting a record number of permanent moves, loans and brokered deals.
A total of 37 transactions were completed over the course of January, with key highlights including Anthony Gordon’s permanent switch to Newcastle United; Mario Lemina’s transfer to Wolves, Jimmy-Jay Morgan’s homecoming return to Chelsea and highly-rated forward Cameron Archer heading to Michael Carrick’s Middlesbrough on-loan.
All in all, it was a window to remember – but the hard work has already begun as the team prepare for what is likely to be another busy period in Summer 2023.
